When to Use NSP

NSP is Nintendo's official digital distribution format — the same container used by the Nintendo eShop. It installs to your Switch's NAND or microSD card just like a purchased game.

How to Install NSP Files

1 Copy the .nsp file to your microSD card.

2 Open your preferred installer from the homebrew menu.

3 Navigate to the .nsp file location.

4 Select the file and confirm installation.

5 Wait for installation to complete.

6 Find the game on your home screen.
